Opening Times

  • In 2008 the park is open from the 15th of March to the 11th of November

  • First admission to the park is at 9.30am with rides opening at 10am

  • Closing times for the theme park vary throughout the season

Location

  • Alton Towers is clearly signposted from these motorways:

  • Travelling North: M1 - Junction 23a and M6 - Junction 15

  • Travelling South: M1 - Junction 28 and M6 - Junction 16 

  • There is currently a £4 charge for car parking

Ticket Prices

  • At the gate prices are £34 for adults and £24 for children

  • A 'Family of 4' is £90 and a 'Family of 5' is £100

Chocolate Towers (Mar - Apr)

Alton Towers transforms itself into Chocolate Towers . Witness the amazing acrobatic Easter bunnies as they perform a whole host of breathtaking acts, crack the chocolate bungee run or indulge yourself with a menu dedicated to the scrumptious sweet stuff!  

Alton Towers Scarefest (Oct - Nov)

This year Alton Towers is celebrating Halloween in spine-tingling style. Visit the park if you dare, between October and November, for hair-raising antics, including the return of the legendary Terror of the Towers, the re-opening of 'Room 13' and much more!
